The pursuit of special topics of interest conveys a valuable insight into climatic and hydrological phenomena and into the dynamic relationship between the atmosphere and the earth’s surface.
The courses offered present the theoretical and practical aspects of topics such as water balance, runoff formation, groundwater recharge, snow and glacier hydrology, and hydrological modelling and forecasting. This choice of topics represents an ideal first step toward the specialized Master programme in Atmosphere and Climatic Sciences. |
